My city I live in is Awassa/Awasa/ Hawassa (fifth largest of Ethiopia). The city is nice and relatively neat. The population is over 400,000. residents. It is the capital of the Sidama region, which has existed since 2021 but is ethnically diverse. Located along the lake of the same name. I myself have a 5-minute walk to the lake from home.

I would like to ask for prayer for unity in diversity. In Ethiopia, as in other African countries, there are many different tribes, which very often causes unequal treatment, conflicts and even wars. We experience it so often in our daily life. Let us pray that diversity would be a wealth, not a reason for mutual hostility.
