Our mission is to comprehensively help street children in Ethiopia.
What's the problem?
Ethiopia is struggling with numerous social problems. As always, the most vulnerable group to all the misfortunes of the world are children. Because they are guilty of nothing and become victims of poverty, hunger, violence, breakdown of families, loss of parents.
Having no other option or running away from problems at home, children in Ethiopia often migrate to cities and end up on the streets where they try to survive, often remaining on the margins of society forever. There are more and more street children in Awassa and there is no chance for them to change.
How do we help?
Our goal is to help them in the long run, give them perspective for the future, education, send them to school, support them until their families or they can become independent. We run a rehabilitation center where children will learn to live anew in society under the supervision of specialists.
