In Ethiopia, although public education is free, many children do not go to school because their families cannot afford to buy school supplies. The cost of notebooks, school supplies, uniforms exceeds the financial capabilities of many parents, let alone broken, pathological, extremely poor families, from which street children often come. At the beginning of the school year, we received financial support from the Poznań mission of the Catholic Movement of Solidarity with the Poor of the Third World “Maitri” and from the Heart Adoption Foundation: www.adopcjaserca.eu. Thanks to this help, we were able to buy layettes, clothes, shoes and uniforms for 90 children.God bless the wonderful donors!

Let’s add that this is not a one-time support, because with the Maitri Movement and the Heart Adoption Foundation, we are just starting a feeding project, and perhaps the cooperation will also develop into other projects.
