Mesash went from house to house with her mother begging for food. One of our teachers invited her to our classes when she knocked on her door. The girl actually started coming and taking part in the classes. Mesash has a problem with her eyes. We noticed that she had a huge problem seeing what was written on the blackboard. We took her to an ophthalmologist who prescribed glasses and covering her eye for 6 hours a day. Knowing that it might be difficult for her mother and the girl to make sure of this, we wanted to visit the girl. It was supposed to be nearby, but we walked a few kilometers to get to her house on the edge of town. The area looks very charming, but the housing conditions are very poor. We decided to admit the girl to the center. First of all, so that she could break away from the lifestyle she leads with her mother. We hope that we will also be able to improve her eyesight by following the doctor’s recommendations. If we can somehow help the family so that Mesash can live at home and go to school, we will be happy to support her in this way.
