Happy Feast of the Finding of the True Cross!

This is a great celebration in Ethiopia. We—the children and workers of Barkot—have two reasons to rejoice. We celebrate not only because of the Cross of Our Savior, who redeemed our sins with His blood, but also because of our down-to-earth blessing, which He has bestowed upon us through people of good will—we purchased a Minibus! Yesterday, it arrived at our center, and today, under the guidance of Father Juan, we prayed and blessed it so that it may serve us for many years to come!
