Christ rose from the dead also in Ethiopia
Yesterday we celebrated Easter Sunday. The boys living in the center, the children from the orientation program, the two reintegrated boys and all the staff attended the celebration. Everyone was involved in some way. Our boys put a lot of effort into preparing the performance, practicing throughout the evenings. It was the story of a “godly” man whom Jesus had promised a visit to his home. The man prepared himself as best he could, but did not notice when He came in the form of a hungry, sick, needy, or a street child. At the end of the day, Jesus reminded him that he had not accepted Him, but had given him a second chance. Eventually, the pious man invited to a feast all whom he had brutally thrown out the door earlier, and they sang together for the glory of the Risen Lord. After the artistic program, gifts were given (each boy got shoes), then they had a great Christmas lunch and were dancing until the power cut 🙂
