Habtamu’s story

Habtamu (11 years old) is one of seven children of his parents. The family is renting a little flat in the suburbs of Awassa. However his mother and father often go to the village where they have some crops. Then they leave the children on their own. Because of the financial problems Habtamu couldn’t go to school. Instead he was going to the streets to beg for some food and money. The boy ended up in our foundation and finally he started his education.
