Mitiku (10 y.o) had been attending open classes at the center for a long time, but very irregularly. He and his siblings lived off what he begged. He had virtually no care and could do what he wanted, when he wanted. He lives with five siblings in a small apartment rented by his parents. The parents are usually absent, because they go to the village, where they have a piece of land, the crops of which they use to feed the family. Mitiku interrupted his studies in the third grade of primary school due to hunger and difficult financial situation.
After being prepared at the center, we enrolled him in school. However, due to the lack of a certificate and lack of education, he went to the second grade of primary school. At the same time, we are still working with him in the center during our free time.
If you want to constantly support the boy, follow his successes, receive up-to-date photos, or even exchange correspondence with him, read about the “Adoption at a distance” campaign. When filling in the form, choose the name “Mitiku“.
